New Packaging - Nauratan
Nauratan Pan Masala is a special product for us at Baba, which is why we constantly want to improve it, enhance it and make it better for our loyal customers.
“Commemorating our 90th year by launching this product is a landmark moment in the history of BABA.”
The government banned the use of plastic for pan masala packaging in 2016, as it seeks to reduce generation of non-biodegradable waste such as pouches and sachets. The move is part of the Plastic Waste Management (PWM) Rules 2016 notified by the ministry of environment, forest and climate change (MoEFCC). We take our responsibility in the industry seriously and have used tin foil for the pouch packing.
The launch packaging had some elements which were later changed to give the packaging a more wholesome look.
1. The initial design had the price in a red box, on the right side. The new packaging has the price in a gold box on the left side. The colour was changed to match the overall decorative elements of the packaging.
2. A star has been added on the right side of the packaging.
3. A blue R has been added inside the gold letter R of Nauratan.
4. The registered symbol placement has been moved to sit above the last letter (N) of Nauratan.
